Nice Price : Boss Audio Systems CH6530 Chaos Series 6.5-Inch 3-Way Speaker

The Good: These speakers have a very nice high and mid response. They sound truly gorgeous (or as gorgeous as one gets for $20 speakers). I am personally a fan of the red speaker cone and silver mid and tweeter. It has decent volume, but surely doesn't blow the door apart.

The Bad: I bought these speakers expecting thump, but all I got was tweet. The determined problem: their bottom frequency response is 100 Hz! For a good bass response, surely buy something 70 Hz or lower. The part to be learned: always read the specs (and if you don't understand them, ask someone) and always read the reviews.

The Ugly: Aside from the normal struggle of taking the door apart and getting the old speaker out, this speaker not only won't fit in my '00 Accord's facility plastic brackets, none of the holes lined up with the four holes in the door! I had to drill my own holes. If you end up doing this, be sure to buy some type of foam insulation tape to put colse to the rim of the speaker to it doesn't rattle. It wasn't an unsolvable problem, just annoying.

Summary: Good speakers, but if you like more bass advent out of your door speakers than the facility speakers, don't buy.
